From the child’s feet, a delicate but sprawling branch of dead vines with mixed leaves, flowers, and small berries winds upward through the sleeve; the vines stay slightly thinner and repeat in an elegant pattern that leaves open channels of skin so the design feels airy, not crowded. Near the child on the lower forearm, a young bear cub walks in a shallow stream with thick fluffy fur, rounded muzzle and ears, and soft curious eyes, its snout touching the water as if gently drinking while its paws step over smooth rocks, with clean negative space preserved around the rocks and water.
